WD088 - Irish and Percussive Dance Practice & Master Class

with Katherine Brennan
Description Stay in shape, learn new steps, and hone your Irish dance technique! This fall, a 12-week series of Irish dance practice sessions and master classes will provide a unique learning opportunity for adult Irish dancers at all levels. One-hour practice sessions will be student-led. Work independently, in pairs, or as a group, while you review familiar steps and trade new ones with other dancers in the class. Dance student Kate Brennan will facilitate the class and may also teach group céilí dances – her specialty. Then, challenge yourself once a month (or more) with special master classes by guest teachers. All guest teachers are professional instructors and performers in the Boston area. Material will be taught at an appropriate introductory level, but students may find that they can do more than they thought, with the solid Irish dance foundation they have gained!
