|Students will be trained in the Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam, which is characterized by high energy, precision of rhythm and movement, and subtlety of facial expressions. This class will focus on the perfection of basic technique through the adavus. Students will also be taught 1-2 dances from a traditional repertoire. Each class will begin and end with a series of stretches and yoga postures based on the Hatha yoga tradition.
