Mercedes Ruiz is a respected Flamenco artist from Spain. She is known for her solid knowledge of traditional flamenco and her authentic ways of evolving this art form. Mercedes Ruiz & master guitarist, Santiago Lara, are coming to Boston to perform at Global Arts Live's Gala Flamenca during the 2020 Boston Flamenco Festival and she will be giving her very first flamenco workshop in the Boston area. Take your opportunity to learn from two of the world's best flamenco artists!
To top off the celebration, join us for a festive Juerga (Flamenco jam), following the weekend of workshops & performances, complete with complimentary authentic tapas, music, and impromptu dancing!
